Rising Bengal Dhaka Bureau: The Ecnec meeting held at the NEC conference room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar, Dhaka, Bangladesh's capital on Tuesday (May 4) approved the construction project of Sheikh Russel Mini Stadium at a cost of Tk16 5 billion in 186 upazilas of the country proposed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina chaired the Ecnec meeting held at the NEC conference room in Sher-e-Bangla Nagar through a videoconference from Ganabhaban.
After the Ecnec meeting, the State Minister for Youth and Sports said that the 24th Ecnec meeting held today approved the construction of Sheikh Russel Mini Stadium project at a cost of Tk16 5 billion in 186 upazilas of the country proposed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports This is undoubtedly a great news for the sports arena.
He hoped that the construction of these stadiums will start after the formalities are completed in a very short time He said that these stadiums will play an important role in spreading sports in the remote areas of the country and will create a renaissance in the country's sports arena.
