The prime minister said this while presiding over a discussion meeting organized by Bangladesh Awami League to mark the golden jubilee of independence on Sunday (March 28) afternoon She joined the main event held at the party office at 23, Bangabandhu Avenue virtually from Ganabhaban through a video conference Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that not a single person will remain homeless in the country during the Mujib Year and the golden jubilee of independence.

He regretted that schools and colleges could not be opened, but now due to the sudden increase in the Corona outbreak, we will open schools and colleges after Eid-ul-Azha He also said that his government will now do the repair work of educational institutions, including university halls.

Besides, the development works of the country will continue, and we will continue to make efforts so that Bangladesh continues to move forward, the prime minister said Addressing the Awami League leaders and activists, President Sheikh Hasina said the coronavirus outbreak is increasing All the programmes should be done with caution.

He said, now we all have to prepare As a political party, it is our duty to stand by the people so that people do not suffer due to coronavirus You have to prepare and stand by the people again from now on.

He also spoke about the distortion of history Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman's name was erased for 21 years The speech of 7 March was also banned Bangladesh was taken to different parts We took different programs after coming to power We did not stop the plot We did not allow us to come to power in 2001.

But the results were not good Five times we became champions in corruption Bangladesh lagged behind in many sectors.
