Rising Bengal Dhaka Bureau: JCI Bangladesh organized the'Women of Inspiration Awards-2021'on Saturday (27 March) on the occasion of'Women's Day'at an international five-star hotel in Dhaka, Bangladesh capital The theme of the 2021 International Women's Day is'Women in Leadership: Achieving an Equal Future in a COVID-19 World'by UN Women.

Based on this theme, JCI Bangladesh organized the event and honoured 13 female leaders of Bangladesh with the Women of Inspiration Award, which is given to outstanding women.

The awards are divided into various categories such as Entrepreneurship, Banking, Legal Affairs, Business Innovation, Medical Innovation, Defence, Arts & Culture, Fashion & Beauty, Media, Corporate Leadership, etc.

The women achievers who were awarded are Masuma Rahman Nabila, Nahita Nishmin, Nasima Akhter Nisha, Prima Nazia Andaleeb, Farhana Rafiq Uzzaman, Advocate Nahid Sultana (Juthi), Barrister Rashna Imam, Rukhmila Zaman, Dr Senjuti Saha, Sanjida Haque Arefin Luna, Shamima Nasreen, Tina F Jabeen Colonel and Dr Zebun Nahar The event was virtually attended by Speaker of Bangladesh National Assembly Dr Shirin Sharmin Chaudhury as the chief guest, Member of Parliament (MP) of Munshiganj-2 constituency Sagufta Yasmin Emily as the special guest, Special Assistant to the Prime Minister of Bangladesh Office Barrister Shah Ali Farhad and Deputy Chief of Mission of the United States Embassy in Bangladesh Jo Ann Wagner presided over the event.

Tasmina Ahmed Shraboni is the Chief Coordinator of the Women of Inspiration Award-2021, Ismat Jahan Lisa is the Convener of the event and Mr Ziaul Haque is the Co-Convener National Officers, Local Presidents, Members, Business Leaders, Diplomats, Government Officials and other dignitaries of JCI Bangladesh were present at the event.

The event was also attended by Platinum Sponsor Daraz and Gold Sponsors BNO, Warah, Okod and AIS.
