A Muslim businessman from Tamil Nadu has donated Rs 1 lakh for the construction of the Ram temple.
People from all over the country are helping in the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
Vishwa Hindu Parishad state secretary S V Srinivas said that the central government has formed a trust for Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra and so coupons of Rs 10,100 and Rs 1000 have been made for the construction of the temple.
When Hindu Munnani and VHP activists from Tamil Nadu approached Muslim businessman W S Habib to collect donations for the Ram temple, the Muslim businessman handed them a cheque of Rs 1 8 lakh.
"I want to create communal harmony between Muslims and Hindus. We are all children of God and I have donated for the construction of Ram temple with this belief," Habib, a businessman, said.

At present, more than Rs 1,500 crore has been collected for the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya.
