But the bhakti that worships the principle, worships the knowledge Because bhajan is another name for the concept of the principle It is only two different names for one self Just as one has two names, Shrikrushna and Parthasarathy, so knowledge and devotion are two names for one worship But one class of people, in the pursuit of dharma, separated knowledge and devotion for the purpose of self-realization, and thus created a division in Hindu society.

The Hindu deities are all considered to be symbols of Brahman and therefore these deities are also Brahmanical The deities are only symbolic here, the real goal of the sadhaka is Brahman Hence murtipujo is the aid of the sadhaka in removing his disability Another name for this aid is murtipujo.
