তবুও ১৬৭০ খ্রিস্টাব্দে আওরঙ্গজেব রাজ্য জুড়ে এক ফরমান জারি করে জানান, ---
"All the temples built in the last ten or twelve years will be demolished and the old temples will not be allowed to be renovated." - Muraqqat-i-Hasan, Rampur Manuscript.
