Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus thanked Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the initiative and noted India's consistent efforts to stand by other countries.
"Thank you Prime Minister Narendra Modi for your constant support in fighting COVID. We can only overcome this virus and save our surroundings by working together, sharing knowledge," he wrote.
