Bangladesh has received 500,000 vaccines from China's Sinopharm.
Rising Bengal Dhaka Bureau: Bangladesh received 500,000 doses of the newly approved Sinopharm vaccines that arrived in Bangladesh from China this morning Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen and Health Minister Zahid Maleque received the vaccines at the state guesthouse Padma in the capital on Wednesday (May 12) and Chinese Ambassador to Dhaka Mr Li Jiming handed over the vaccines.
After handing over the vaccines to the Bangladesh government, Chinese Ambassador Li Jiming said, "China is a true friend of Bangladesh China is upholding its responsibilities by standing by its friends despite the demand in its own country ".
