The list published includes 1,942 freedom fighters from Dhaka Division, 1,347 from Chittagong Division, 573 from Barisal Division, 770 from Khulna Division, 567 from Mymensingh Division, 684 from Rajshahi Division, 572 from Rangpur Division, and 533 from Sylhet Division.
It is to be noted that the civilian gazette without the approval of the National Freedom Fighters Council (Jamuka) was not published in this list The gazette without the approval of Jamuka will be published later after regularization.
Earlier on 25 March, the Bangladesh Liberation War Affairs Ministry published the first phase of the final list of the heroic freedom fighters.
