Dhaka: The government of Bangladesh is going to impose a nationwide lockdown for a week from Monday, said Awami League General Secretary and Road Transport and Bridges Minister Obaidul Quader.

He said,'The government is announcing a countrywide lockdown for a week from next Monday (April 5) to tackle the corona situation 'Awami League General Secretary and Bridge Minister Obaidul Quader said this at a press conference held at his official residence in the capital on Saturday.
