Rising Bengal Dhaka Bureau: Murapara Rajbari of Bangladesh is located in the village of Murapara, Rupganj Upazila, Narayanganj District, Bangladesh One of the most archaeological sites and centennial zamindar house of Bangladesh.
The zamindar house, which is situated on 62 bighas of land, was built by Babu Ramratan Banerjee, who established the Murapara zamindari in the area In 1948, the then Government of Pakistan took over the house and started the operation of the hospital and juvenile correction centre here In 1966, the school and college were being run here.
After the independence of Bangladesh, the Bangladesh Directorate of Archaeology took over the house in 1986 and listed it as an archaeological site It is currently used as the building of the University College, Murapara.
