অন্যদিকে বিক্ষিপ্ত চিমানরাও পাতিল জানিয়েছেন, ''আমরা বরাবরই কংগ্রেস ও এনসিপির প্রতিদ্বন্দ্বী। ওরাই আমাদের চ্যালেঞ্জার...।'' ওদিকে, শিন্ডেকে কটাক্ষ করে সঞ্জয় রাউত জানিয়েছেন, ''কত দিন আর গুয়াহাটিতে এ ভাবে লুকিয়ে থাকবেন? '' পাল্টা শিন্ডে সেনারা বলেছেন, তারা এখনও পর্যন্ত শিবসেনার সঙ্গেই রয়েছেন। বিদ্রোহী বিধায়ক দীপক কেসারকার জানিয়েছেন, তারা আলাদা একটি শিবসেনা বালাসাহেবের নামে দল তৈরি করবেন।
