Delhi under the rule of Sultan Qutbuddin.
Sultan Mahmud returned to his homeland Ghazni after winning the Second Battle of Tarain in 1192, leaving Delhi in the hands of his slave Qutbuddin Aibak The dynasty founded by Qutbuddin is known in history as the "slave dynasty" as they were slaves of Sultan Mahmud.

In 1203, Qutbuddin captured Bundelkhand, as the British historian Vincent Arthur Smith reports:.
The grateful historian of the conqueror's exploits states that the temples were converted into mosques and the very name of idolatry was annihilated Fifty thousand men came under the collar of slavery --- The Oxford History of Indians, Page-236: Vincent A Smith.
That is, according to the accounts of the grieving historians, all the temples converted into mosques, were wiped out in the name of paganism Fifty thousand people were taken captive and enslaved Fifty thousand of these are definitely Hindus.
Historian Dr Murry Titus says that Qutb-ud-din Aibak destroyed about a thousand temples and built mosques on all of them He built the famous Jama Masjid in Delhi He decorated the temples he destroyed with precious stones and jewels with the help of elephants He also carved the Holy Quran on the walls of the Jama Masjid.

Qutbuddin Aibak ruled from 1210 to 1236 CE His Jihadi campaigns passed through Delhi and extended from Meerut, Aligarh, Ranthambore, Gujarat, Lakshmanavati to Lahore Thus, after conquering various territories including Delhi, in 1193 CE, Kanaujraj defeated Jayachandra and extended the Ghor kingdom to Varanasi.
The country stopped taking slaves captive from Qutbuddin's time Since then, a section of slaves were put to work in the service of the royal palace, the army chief, the amir-umrah, and the soldiers The rest were sold in the internal slave market of India Thus, the practice of selling people officially began in this country.
