Rising Bengal News Bureau: Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee attended an administrative meeting in Durgapur on Wednesday this week, where she advised party MLAs to go out in public.
"Our honourable Chief Minister of West Bengal has gone to Durgapur and asked the MLAs to join the farming. The marginal farmers are very poor. The farmers are cultivating and taking the surplus crops to the market but are not getting the right price. The infrastructure is not there in West Bengal, the farmers are not getting fertilizers, they are not getting water. The Chief Minister felt that the farmers in West Bengal are not doing well. So the MLAs should go and cooperate. I cannot leave the word of the honourable Chief Minister,".
