শিক্ষার পর দমকলে নিয়োগের বেনিয়ম, স্থগিতাদেশের মেয়াদ বাড়াল হাই কোর্ট
রাইজি়ং বেঙ্গল নিউজ় ব্যুরো: দমকল নিয়োগে দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ করা হয়। এই মামলায় রায়ে এর আগেই কলকাতা হাইকোর্টের তরফে স্থগিতাদেশ জারি করা হয়েছিল। এইবার, এই স্থগিতাদেশের মেয়াদ আরও বাড়িয়ে দেওয়া হল। বিচারপতি হরিশ ট্যান্ডনের ডিভিশন বেঞ্চের তরফে এজ স্থগিতাদেশ জারি করা হয়েছে। এই মামলার শুনানি আগামী সোমবারে হবে বলে জানা গেছে।
মাত্র কিছুদিন আগেই দমকল বিভাগে দুর্নীতির অভিযোগ ওঠে কলকাতা হাইকোর্টে। এই অভিযোগ উঠতেই তখন আদালতের তরফে নির্দেশ দেওয়া হয় দমকল বিভাগে ১৫০০ জনের নিয়োগে স্থগিতাদেশ দেওয়ার জন্য। এরপরেই, চলতি সপ্তাহে মেয়াদ আরও বেড়ে গেল। মূলত নিয়োগে অনিয়মের অভিযোগ তুলেই আদলাতে মামলা দায়ের হয়েছে।
এই মামলা ২০১৮ সালের দমকল বিভাগে নিয়োগকে কেন্দ্র করে। দমকল বিভাগের পরীক্ষাটি হয়েছিল ২০১৮ সালে। আজ বছরের পরীক্ষার্থীই অভিযোগ তোলে নিয়োগে অনিয়মের ব্যাপারে। এই মামলা এগোতেই আবার কমিশনের তরফে আইনজীবী প্রদীপ রায়কে সরিয়ে দেওয়া হয় ও দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হয় আভ্রোতোষ মজুমদারকে। তারপরেই সংবাদমাধ্যমের দিকে আঙুল তুলে আদালতের দ্বারস্থ হন আইনজীবী প্রদীপ রায়।
